Jan Bojö is currently Lead Economist in the Sustainable Development Department of the East Asia & Pacific Region. He joined the World Bank's Africa Region in 1991 as an Environmental Economist. In 2001, he joined the Environment Department, and later the SDN VP's Office as an Advisor. His work has focused on environmental strategies, economic analysis, project design and implementation-and more recently-climate change. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics at the Stockholm School of Economics, Sweden.
